This Privacy Policy pertains to the Camvio smart mobile device platform (hereinafter ‘Camvio’). The Camvio system is a digital web platform for farmers and agronomists, providing advanced crop monitoring and management functionalities aimed at intelligent farm planning and continuous improvement of field operations, with the goal of enhancing economic and environmental sustainability of crops. Use of the Camvio platform requires registration. Registration and use of these services involve the collection and processing of personal data of Camvio platform users.
1.Responsible Entity
The entity responsible for the processing of personal data for the operation of the Camvio system is DATAVERSE.
2.Collected Personal Data
DATAVERSE maintains a file and processes personal data of application users, voluntarily disclosed by themselves through registration and access to the platform’s services, for the purpose of supporting, promoting, and improving the provided services, communicating with and informing application users, as well as for statistical purposes. The personal data collected and maintained in a file by DATAVERSE includes the following:
- Identification details (name, surname, father’s name)
- Mailing address
- Email address
- Phone number
- Tax Identification Number (AFM)
- Data concerning your parcels of land
- Data concerning your crops
During the use of the Camvio system, automatic information such as your device’s IP address (Internet Protocol address) may be collected for security reasons.
3.Purpose and Principles of Personal Data Collection
DATAVERSE respects your right to privacy and the protection of your personal information. Therefore, through the Camvio system, it collects and processes users’ personal data exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling the purposes and functions of the Camvio applications, providing its services, and serving communication with you. Processing is subject to the rules of the General Data Protection Regulation and related Union law, Greek legislation, and relevant international conventions and agreements.
4.Data Security
DATAVERSE implements reasonable security policies and procedures to protect personal data and information from unauthorized loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction. Despite the efforts made by DATAVERSE, security cannot be absolutely guaranteed against all threats. In case of loss or breach of personal data, we have a specialized incident response team and a procedure for handling such incidents to restore the breach as soon as possible, limit potential consequences, and comply with our legal obligations. We make every effort to restrict access to your personal data to those who need to know. Individuals with access to the data are required to maintain its confidentiality.
5.Data Storage
The platform’s data, including personal data, is collected and stored in Data Centers within the European Union in France.
6.Data Processing and Retention Period
The personal data we collect from the communication platform is used for communication needs with you and for better support/service. DATAVERSE does not disclose, transfer, or make accessible the information concerning you to third parties. We may disclose aggregate information or information that does not directly identify you to third parties in order to develop our platform content and services or to provide platform-related services, such as database management, maintenance services, operational and IT support. 7.User Rights
DATAVERSE will retain the personal data it collects for as long as necessary to fulfill the processing purposes stated above. If you withdraw your consent for the collection and processing of your personal data, we will delete your data from our electronic and physical records, unless retention is required by our legal obligations or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. Deletion does not apply to data that is anonymous or anonymized. Access logs regarding your system, including IP addresses, are kept for security purposes for a period of 3 months.
- Right to withdraw consent: You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
- Right of access, rectification, and erasure: You have the right to request access to any of your personal data that we may hold, request correction of any inaccurate data about you, and under certain circumstances, request deletion of your personal data.
- Right to data portability: Under certain conditions, you have the right to receive all such personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller where technically feasible.
- Right to restriction of processing: You have the right to restrict our processing of your personal data where:
- you contest the accuracy of the personal data until we have taken sufficient steps to correct or verify its accuracy;
- the processing is unlawful, but you do not want the data erased;
- we no longer need your personal data for the purposes of processing, but you require the data for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims; or
- you have objected to processing justified on legitimate interest grounds pending verification as to whether we have compelling legitimate grounds to continue processing.
Where personal data is subject to such restrictions, we will only process it with your consent or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
Right to object to processing: Where permitted by law, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. If you object, we will stop processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

You can submit a request or exercise these rights by contacting DATAVERSE at info@camvio.gr. DATAVERSE will make every effort to respond to your request within thirty days of receipt. However, if due to the complexity of your request or the volume of information, we are unable to meet this deadline, DATAVERSE commits to informing you within the above timeframe of the reasons for the delay and to make every effort to satisfy your request as soon as possible, and in any case within an additional two months.
